Laser tattoo removal uses targeted laser energy to break down tattoo pigment into smaller particles, which the body then naturally clears away over the following weeks. Because pigment fades gradually with each session, a full removal is typically achieved over a course of treatments rather than in one visit, with the exact number depending on the tattoo's size, colour and age.
