Sunekos: What It Is and What It Actually Does for Your Skin

11 September 2026

Sunekos has become one of the go-to treatments for people who want genuinely improved skin quality without the structural change that comes with dermal filler. Here's what it actually is, and what it can realistically do.

What Is Sunekos?

Sunekos is an injectable treatment combining hyaluronic acid with amino acids, carefully formulated to encourage your skin to produce its own new collagen and elastin. Unlike traditional filler, it isn't designed to add volume or reshape — it's about genuinely improving the quality, hydration and elasticity of the skin itself.

What Results Can You Expect?

Most people notice initial benefits within seven to fourteen days, with results continuing to build and typically peaking around three months after treatment. The overall effect is softer fine lines, improved hydration, and skin that generally looks and feels healthier — rather than a visibly "done" change.

How Long Does It Last?

Results generally last around six months, though this varies quite a bit from person to person — some people see benefits for four months, others closer to a year, depending on genetics, skincare routine and sun exposure. Maintenance treatments are typically recommended every four to seven months to sustain your results.

How Is It Different from Dermal Filler?

Filler is about structure — adding volume and shape where it's needed. Sunekos is about quality — helping your existing skin function and look better from within. Many people have both as part of a wider treatment plan, since they solve genuinely different problems.
