How Long Does a Lash Lift and Tint Really Last?

11 September 2026

A lash lift and tint is one of the easiest ways to wake up looking more put-together without any daily effort — but how long it actually lasts depends on your natural lash cycle, and it's worth knowing what to expect before you book.

The Short Answer

A lash lift typically lasts six to eight weeks, governed by how quickly your natural lashes grow and shed. The tint tends to fade a little faster, usually needing a refresh every four to six weeks.

What the Weeks Actually Look Like

In week one, your lift looks its strongest and the tint its deepest. Through weeks two and three, both curl and colour generally hold up well. By weeks four and five, the tint starts to soften and new, untreated lashes become more noticeable. From week six onwards, you'll likely see a mix of curl levels as treated and new lashes sit alongside each other, which is when most people book their next appointment.

What the Appointment Involves

The whole treatment takes around 60 to 75 minutes, and it's genuinely relaxing — most people find it an easy way to spend an hour. Immediately afterwards, you'll need to keep your lashes dry for 24 to 48 hours to let everything set properly.

Getting the Most from It

Beyond avoiding water in the first day or two, there's very little maintenance required — that's a large part of the appeal. Avoiding oil-based eye makeup removers and rubbing your eyes will help it last as long as possible.
