Level 5 Aesthetics: What Advanced Training Actually Covers

11 September 2026

Level 5 is where aesthetics training genuinely becomes specialist. If you've built your foundation through Levels 3 and 4, this is the stage where your skill set starts to look like a real, advanced practitioner's.

What's Actually Covered

Level 5 training covers advanced consultation, skin analysis and assessment, alongside deeper skin science, chemical peeling, advanced skin needling, mesotherapy for skin rejuvenation, and radiofrequency and hydro-dermabrasion treatments. It's a genuinely broad, specialist-level curriculum built on everything you learned at Levels 3 and 4.

Who Is Level 5 For?

Level 5 typically requires a Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) as a prerequisite, so it's designed for practitioners who are already working and want to expand into more advanced, higher-value treatments rather than complete beginners.

What It Prepares You For

Completing Level 5 is generally the direct route towards Level 7 — the highest regulated qualification for injectable treatments in the UK. Think of Level 5 as the bridge between solid foundational skills and the advanced injectable career many practitioners are working towards.

Why It's Worth the Investment

Advanced treatments command higher prices and attract a different, often more loyal client base. Level 5 genuinely expands what you can offer, which directly affects what you can earn as your career progresses.
