Introduction
This specialist CPD course is designed to develop professional microneedling knowledge and practical technique. Training takes you through skin assessment, consultation and treatment planning before progressing into device operation, treatment depth, controlled technique, safety and aftercare.
You will learn the principles behind microneedling and how treatment approach can be adapted according to the client’s skin and treatment objectives. Practical training focuses on safe device handling, systematic application and understanding skin response.

- ✓ Skin Anatomy & Physiology — Develop knowledge of the skin and how it responds to controlled microneedling.
- ✓ Skin Analysis — Assess skin type, condition, concerns and treatment history before planning treatment.
- ✓ Microneedling Principles — Understand the purpose of microneedling, treatment depth and factors influencing treatment response.
- ✓ Device Operation & Technique — Learn device handling, preparation, needle depth considerations and controlled treatment technique.
- ✓ Treatment Planning — Create an appropriate protocol based on the client’s skin and objectives.
- ✓ Contraindications & Safety — Understand suitability, hygiene, infection prevention and relevant precautions.
- ✓ Practical Training — Carry out the treatment process under tutor guidance, developing control and consistency.
- ✓ Aftercare — Learn post-treatment advice, expected skin response, recovery and treatment intervals.

Duration: 1-2 days | In Person | Practical Training
Successful learners receive the relevant CPD certificate.
Progression can include combined microneedling and peel training, RF microneedling and other specialist skin rejuvenation CPD.

Requirements
All CPD courses involving needles require either a Level 3 Beauty qualification or above, or a minimum of 6 months’ previous needling experience. Please check the individual course requirements before booking.
