Introduction
This advanced specialist CPD course is designed to develop practitioner knowledge and practical skills in PDO thread lifting. Training focuses on facial anatomy, tissue laxity, thread selection, treatment planning, placement principles, safety and aftercare, helping practitioners understand how thread treatments are planned around individual facial structure.
The course explores the treatment from consultation and assessment through to thread selection, planning and practical placement. A strong emphasis is placed on anatomy, safe working and understanding potential complications.

- ✓ Facial Anatomy & Ageing — Develop knowledge of facial structures and changes associated with tissue laxity and ageing.
- ✓ Consultation & Assessment — Assess facial presentation, skin laxity, treatment objectives and suitability.
- ✓ Thread Types & Selection — Understand the thread types included within the course and how selection relates to treatment planning.
- ✓ Vectors & Treatment Planning — Learn the principles of treatment vectors, placement planning and creating an appropriate treatment approach.
- ✓ Placement Technique — Develop knowledge of the placement technique included within the academy protocol.
- ✓ Practical Training — Apply assessment, planning and treatment technique under tutor guidance.
- ✓ Complications & Safety — Understand contraindications, hygiene, potential adverse reactions and complication awareness.
- ✓ Aftercare — Learn recovery, aftercare and follow-up considerations.

Duration: 1-2 days | In Person | Theory + Practical
Successful learners receive the relevant CPD certificate.
Progression can include further advanced injectable and facial aesthetics training.

Requirements
All CPD courses involving needles require either a Level 3 Beauty qualification or above, or a minimum of 6 months’ previous needling experience. Please check the individual course requirements before booking.
